It wouldn't surprise me if he's done for the season, personally. :(

Someone on Facebook just posted this. I'm not sure how reliable it is, so please take it with a grain of salt.
Joe B. just said on Comcast PostGame that he was talking to Bruce when Ovie walked onto the team bus seemingly without issues, no crutches or braces. Prob ok and was just hurt from the initial impact. He had to know he was out for the game, so playing up the potential of an injury would be a calculated good move on his part. I'd bet we see him thurs.
You've got to think that even if Ovie isn't injured, he's probably going to be suspended for a couple games. Hopefully, this will be a wakeup call for him. He's too damn good to risk his career like this.

Tarik El-Bashir (WaPo) reported he saw Ovi had a slight limp, but no crutches and no brace. Ovie also gave a "no comment" after the game too

Ovechkin skates briefly
Alex Ovechkin came out onto the ice here at KCI for less than five minutes moments ago wearing a red track suit. Nothing strenuous, took some strides, handled the puck a couple of times, then left the ice.
The team has not made an any announcement regarding his status.

Alex Ovechkin was on the ice this morning for about four minuntes in a track suit, gloves and skates. He had a stick with him and whacked at a couple of pucks, but it was a very light skate.
At first, Ovechkin was skating without using his right leg to push off at all, then he took small strides with both legs. Eventually, he was moving his feet close together and far apart to stretch his legs out and finally he bent his right knee a few times before leaving the ice.

BB on AO: "It's a lot better than I thought it would be."

Music to my ears. :clap3:
I'm not looking forward to the probable suspension though. :laughlol:

I'll take a suspension over an extended time on the shelf b/c of injury any day. And maybe the Suspension will do AO a little good. He's had a few of these types of plays already. Missing a few games might help him play under control just a little more.

Not so bad since he was probably going to sit out both games to recover a bit anyway. I'll take it.
My boy Fehr is playing really well lately isn't he? We are becoming a deep team all of a sudden. Now we just need to figure out how to keep Alzner up.

The guys on NHL Network were saying that Laich is a rising star too.

Ovie participating in the morning practice this morning, but he wore the orange jersey, which means no contact.
There's even a video of him skating

Just thought I'd make you guys jealous, I sat first row behind the bench last night, apparently I was on TV all night, I kept getting texts through the whole game "I saw you". Amazing stuff.
