Will we beat up again on our recent punching bag? Or is it time to stick a fork in us?

watch out for the Raiders. They might not have a very good record, but they have some good talent and the Ravens have to play them on the road. Its also a west coast game which it is always tough to travel to the west coast.

check out my avatar for the most underrated player in the nfl.

If Gradkowski was playing, I might say Oakland.

Not with Frye/Russell.

Debating whether or not to make the 10-hour drive to see this one in person.

Then again, my last trip to the Bay Area was in Sept to see the Terps play Cal. That didn't go well. Think I'll watch this one from home.

We don't lose to sub-.500 teams, as simple as that. As up and down as our season has been, we have dominated inferior teams, I expect this trend to continue.

Ravens have beat down the doormats all year so I don't see them having too much trouble against Oakland. The only thing that gives me pause is them playing on the road in a hostile environment and the fact you just don't know how much their undisciplined play will effect them.

Still, I think they should win easily.

Precisely why I'm picking the Ravens to win as well.

I don't see how anyone could pick the Raiders. Could the Raiders win? Sure, but it is not likely to happen.

The Bengals, Broncos, Eagles and Steelers fans probably said the same thing, IMO.

Anything is possible with this Ravens team. We should win, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Once again...

The Ravens haven't lost to a below-.500 team since Harbaugh was hired. he Ravens win these games. See: Bears, Lions, Chiefs, Browns.

Hopefully, that holds true come next Sunday.

The Ravens should win this one and it shouldn't be close, but that doesn't mean that's how it'll work out. The Raiders have done a very surprising job of playing well against good teams, only to have terrible performances against the mediocre ones. That said, I believe the Ravens will win, but I think the Raiders could make it interesting.

We need to pound the ball this week.

Oakland lets up 149 yards rushing per game, close to worse in the league...They are actually ok against the pass...15th. Asoumaga being a big reason why.

They have a respectable running game as well, so we need to shut that down and make them beat us with the pass.

Should be an easy win but you neve rknow...Just run the ball and don't try to be too cute against them.

Bury them early and put them in quitting mode.

I have very little doubt that the Ravens win at Oakland. We take care of business against crappy teams.

It'll be ugly in the first half, like Harbaugh or whoever leads the in-week preparation always makes it. But we'll pull away in the 3rd quarter and not look back. 30-10, after a 13-7 halftime lead.

Taking it one step further, the Ravens have not lost to a non playoff team. The Steelers this year are likely to be the 1st.

Certainly, it makes me a little nervous seeing that 4 of the Raiders 5 wins have come against Cin, Phi,Pitt, and Denver but then I see that they get smoked in two of their last 3 games by Cleveland and Washington and I breath easier again. Bottom line, if we bring the B game we should win comfortably.

The Raiders have improved over the course of the season, and might be a sleeper team next year for the playoffs. Note, I said, next year.

This game shouldn't be particularly close, especially if it's Frye or Russell starting at QB. The only pause for concern is two things that hurt the Ravens yesterday: penalties, & keeping pressure of Flacco. Cut the dumb penalties and keep the pressure off Flacco and the playoffs will be secured.

Ah, the game I've been waiting for all year. Raiders are my team but they'll lose fairly convincingly as Frye is going to start. I expect Ray Rice to have a big game as the Raiders are prone to give up "home run" running plays. I wouldn't expect much passing from the Ravens as Asomugha and CJ (Deion's pupil haha) are one of best CB tandems in the league. Ravens 27 - Raiders 13.

The difference between our game and the others is it's Week 17. While the Raiders have played hard and had a few big wins, they're a poor organization, the coaching situation is a mess and the players may very well be ready for the season to be over.

I think it will take one dominating scoring drive from our offense and then maybe a turnover for the Raiders to pack it in. Pound the rock and take their will away.
