    • I think the Baseball Gods realized finally that they had been screwing Baltimore for four decades.  To show us the proper love they decided we would succeed with ALL the drafts for now on.
    • That was 2018, when Danny Valencia was our best defender
    • Interesting question.  All glove no bat can work sometimes like Mark Belanger(however I think if he had modern weight lifting he might of been a little better hitter) The old Oriole teams had defense so good that they saved the pitchers a lot of innings and unearned runs a year.   I think the book Moneyball suggested if you had a team of all average players you would do very well.  So I don't know.   Is Rafeal Devers a plus ten bat minus ten defensive guy?  I honestly think this guy should move to first base.  I think he kills Boston but I really respect the bat.
    • All he needs is 3 hits in his next 3 at bats and he started better than Cal!
    • K rate and whiff rate are significant pretty quickly, 60 PAs for K rate, and he would be the worst in the league by a country mile in K rate and whiff rate if he qualified.  Even though he's short of a significant sample, when you're this bad, even regressing his small sample leads you to troubling conclusions regarding his readiness.
