    • I hope if he clears waivers, if possible, the O's offer to grant him his release as an option so he and his agent can attempt to find a team where he can play at AAA and potentially work his way back. I don't see that as viable here. I believe he deserves that. He's been a good teammate. I wish him well.
    • good redemption today - 31.  Old timey teams mixed with rate stats has me frothing at the mouth!
    • Two moments I found interesting and enjoyable.  At about the 12 minutes mark, DR said the job of the front office and manager is to “put the best players on the field, train them properly, and make sure that they’re adequately compensated.”  And then at the end, Cal said “they have a good chance of making the playoffs” and DR interjected “WE do.”    DR made an interesting point about getting African Americans in Baltimore more interested in playing and following baseball.  He said only 4% of fans at Camden Yards are African American.  I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the short “Next Chapter” video features an African American girl delighting in thumbing through an Orioles scrapbook.  I bet you are going to see the Orioles really stepping up the efforts to get local kids to games and to build interest inside the city.
    • I hope not. In today's game the outfield starters all need to be able to hit. A player like McKenna, if he has a role, should be there mostly for late inning defense. I would be inclined to bring up Stowers or Kjerstad with Hays or Cowser shifting to center.
    • Other than Errol Robinson, the catchers, and a handful of relievers, there was some chance that these guys could’ve made the OD roster.  Love the taxi squad. This team is definitely better than at least the team we ran out there post deadline in the Syd Thrift firesale.
