    • I’m very satisfied with a 4-2 road trip.   A few of the wins got more stressful than I would have preferred.   But, wins are wins.
    • This thread has been pretty quiet.  Guess that's understandable.  Hard to get incredibly excited about pick #30. For what it's worth........  the latest mock on ESPN has us taking Darius Robinson (EDGE) with our pick.
    • I would give him a deal based on what Seattle did. Large incentives for GG, MVP, All Star etc. and I’d try to avoid opt outs. (Although Julio Rodriguez’ did have them).   That deal was 12 years 209M and could extend to almost 500M with 2 MVPs.    And I’d tell Gunnar that these were the types of deals that would allow extensions to his teammates.
    • That video encapsulates what you like about Bradfield.   Most runners would not have scored on that play, if the catcher had held the ball.
    • Off-topic. Why is it that when managers aren’t renewed/extended at the end of their contracts the press says that they were fired, but when teams fire a player while they are actively under contract the press says they were released?  By the managers’ standard, we’d be saying Santander is being fired once his contract expires this off-season. And that Cal Ripken Sr. was released eight games into the 1988 season.
