    • Just trying to keep it real here.  The line drive off Moore was 75 mph and the SS would have easily fielded it if it had hit Moore.  Holliday opening up, reaching for the ball on the outside corner and catches it off the end of the bat.
    • Did you watch last season’s playoffs?
    • We’re developing Holliday for September/October. He’s done everything he needs to do in the minors. 100 win teams still lose 62 games a year. It’s funny how a fan base goes from losing for 20 years basically to quickly spoiled. “Two game losing streak”.
    • This.  He should have had two hits last night. Not sure if Hyde will play him this afternoon with a lefty starting but I don't see a need to send him down.
    • Welp, everyone wanted him up here. Injury got him here.  I can’t criticize him for having an aggressive approach versus Canning because he pitches to contact. The runner scores on the bobble anyway. The throw home probably gets made by Santander as well, and probably doesn’t get the runner.  Overall, he’s a better OF than O’Hearn and that’s what we needed for last night’s game. We’ll get home for the Yankees series and reevaluate the roster. Maybe we’ll choose to bring up McKenna if they start a lefty, although I think Elias is happy he has him in AAA in case Mullins gets hurt.
