    • I had a chance to see him pitch during the spring for my week of visiting Sarasota. Looked decent there too, but I didn’t think much of it, as I didn’t see a lot of room for him on the roster. It’s a great story (so far) and I’ll just roll with his first start and hope he has a few more quality starts in him. Even if not, it’s a good story for a guy who hadn’t pitched at this level in so long.
    • Ok. No problem.  Did you see the fly ball to Tavera in CF in the 2nd.  Pretty routine except he misjudged the wind and it fell behind him (he had come to a stop, standing there ready to catch it) for a 2 or 3 run “triple”.  The numbers were atrocious.  He looked great in the first inning.  His command was poor after that and they lit him up.
    • Hyde's comment about the  scouts was classy and unselfish.A real organisation man giving praise to his fellow staff members shows great humility and integrity.
    • Saw the thumbnail in my feed and kinda groaned, but I hadn't listened to anything new today so I figured I'd give them a shot. Sludgy, not bad at all.
    • It doesn't get said often enough, but I just love the effort you put into the recaps, both at the Orioles level and especially at  the minors level.  So much good information and highlights. Reason 413 as to why I love the Hangout, but a very important reason. Thank you, again.
