    • Right and that's insane, considering Hays has been, by far, the worst qualified hitter in the league so far.  No amount of "drop-off" that would come from O'Hearn facing a LHP (gasp!) would get near the likelihood of Hays making an out there. And I think you know that but would just rather argue instead of acknowledging the obvious.
    • Now you're just making things up. No one said the world would end if O'Hearn hit. Hyde played the platoons. We knew it was going to happen because it always does. Hyde didn't want to stay with the hot hand. He wanted to platoon. Get over it.
    • I know everyone thinks it’s routine, but some guys still never return to form after TJS. Even when he pitched in MLB at the end of last year, he looked like a guy that had some good luck given that he wasn’t missing bats.
    • There’s a reason he had elbow trouble at the end of last year, and has started behind everyone this year. Do we have to bring him up?
    • Saturday and Sunday crowds against Oakland look good  Saturday is a Hyde bobblehead. Sunday the upper deck is pretty full with LIttle Leaguers. Many sections sold out. Yankee series looks decent, not like the weekend series later in the year. Also the promotion giveaways are selling well. Plus Weather Day against the Blue Jays in May  against the Jays will draw the usual 30,000 or so during the week.
