    • To date, in 5 starts: 26.1 IP, 10 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 10 BB, 40 K’s, 1.03 ERA, 0.76 WHIP, 13.7 K/9, 4.0 K/BB.   That’s a truly outstanding month of April.   Another month remotely similar to that and people will be clamoring to bring him to the majors.  Like I said, really the only thing he hasn’t done yet is get through 6 IP semi-regularly, but then again, this is the first time this year they let Povich exceed 86 pitches.   So, decent chance he can hit 6 IP a few times in May now that they’ll let him go 90+.
    • Going Saturday and was not thrilled to see Irvin pitching and that they are starting a lefty.  Hopefully it'll be Dealing Irvin from his last start, and our guys will figure their guy out.
    • In my defense, I did specify "rational person".
    • I for one was expecting him to OPS 1.400 for the entire year and break Ruth's record for single-season WAR.
    • For sure, I don't think any rational person thought he was a 1.200 OPS guy. His sample size is still small but I'd be happy with a .750-.780 OPS for the season.
