  1. What about those who work as ushers, etc? I would think if they're going to take care of the vending people they would take care of their own as well, right?
  2. Yes. I believe he grounded out into the shift. Took forever for him to come to the plate as well. I get that he was just sitting on the bench, but c'mon. The pitcher shouldn't have to stand on the mound and wait until the replacement is good and ready. At that point the batting team shouldn't get any sort of advantage.
  3. Ortiz certainly got what he deserved. Is it just me or does anyone else think that if a player, during an at-bat, is ejected prior to a strike 3 call, it should count as an out?
  4. As long as it fits in the MLB mandated 16x16x8 box, then you're good.
  5. I'm with you. I didn't think it was that bad either, plus it seemed like the receiver lowered his head. There's no way Ed could pull up. Apparently this suspension is for "repeated violations..."
  6. FWIW, Ed Reed's been suspended one game without pay for repeatedly violating rules associated with hits to the head and neck area. Source: Adam Schefter https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter
  7. What happens if I have tickets for tonight but the game is postponed? Would I be able to use those tickets if the game is played tomorrow? Anyone know how it works?
  8. Hey guys, not sure if this has been mentioned already, but I just wanted to pass along the message that poster, IHeartMASN, passed away a few days ago. I just found out and am dumbfounded. I know he had been in the hospital for a few weeks but had no idea it was that bad. Bruce, while having never met him in person, was a really nice guy and loved the O's just as much, or even more than all of us. Here's to hoping the O's win it all for him! RIP
  9. Thoughts and prayers... http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2012/08/27/shooting-reported-in-perry-hall-high-schools-cafeteria/
  10. It really is though. It's a PRE season game. Plus, there is no way Buck is concerned whatsoever whether or not the Ravens are playing tonight. This is a baseball move through and through, not one to outdo the other team in town.
  11. All season t-shirts have been given out on Thursdays. To think the Orioles did this to compete with the Ravens in some form or fashion is completely asinine.
  12. Not sure if you heard or read the next part of that interview which included, "I retired this offseason." - Ed Reed.
  13. I found these two quotes pretty amusing today on twitter. Ed Reed to CBS: #1 --"They want to say it's about money, but it's about more than that."... #2 --"But I'll say this, they're not going to get me for cheap, not a chance." If that isn't contradictory, I don't know what is. Ed Reed should learn to shut his mouth. He sounds like a fool. A selfish one at that.
