  1. I've posted in previous posts about this. I cut the cord last year. I was able to work around the MLB.tv blackout by using Unlocator and it worked without any issues. I believe its like $5-6/mo or you can pay for the year. Check it out
  2. I got rid of cable last year (right before the season started). I live in Gaithersburg, so I am blacked out from streaming on MLBTV; however, I ended up signing up for Unlocator and was able to watch all the games including the MASN broadcasts on MLBTV
  3. Not sure if it's been asked in the game thread... How was the reception for Odor??? I know there was a lot of talk of him getting some kudos in the thread about his punch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Abad's the pitcher that plunked Manny a couple years ago against the A's right??? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I read last week that there have been five HR robbed in June for all of MLB... We had three... Make that four of six Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Just looked at ESPNs stats and noticed that Trout leads Machado 4.4 - 3.9. Can anyone explain how this is? Looking across stats, Machado leads in every stat except RBI's and OBP while playing a good chunk of the year at the more demanding/important position. Thanks!
  7. Wow Manny wow... Unbelievable play Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. This one actually looks like its believable. Apparently, Pedro and Ryan were roommates at Vandy. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/2016/03/08/pedro-alvarez-baltimore-orioles-trumbo-davis-jones-machado/81473446/
  9. Looks like he may might be thinking a little harder about making the switch... http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/orioles/bs-sp-orioles-nba-connaughton-0119-20160118-story.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I'm sure he will get his retirement tour a la Cal, Jeter, etc... Thoughts on the gift the O's should give him? The shattered pieces of the phone he destroyed? A leather bound copy of the Mitchell Report Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Sure this will stoke the fire a little bit. Check out the Cubs entry Jon Lester might be in Year 1 of a $155 million contract, but Jake Arrieta is the ace of this staff. It?s time to start talking about him like one of the 10 best pitchers in the league ? because that?s what he is. http://grantland.com/the-triangle/mlb-the-30-midseason-stock-report-pittsburgh-pirates/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I was going to post something similar. I was thinking about last year, after he was done for the year, you still saw him in the dugout. Standing with Buck, chatting with the team, definitely seemed like a cheerleader/another coach. Then this year, he's doing his rehab assignment and gone from the team, and we really struggled. Now that he's back, we have hopefully turned the corner. I think the correlation has more to do with him than with Matusz... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. DD seems to find them on trees. We have a whole rotation full of MOR pitchers that ERod is projected to be, who are all cost controlled and making under $11M combined. The front office has proven they can find value compared to what they are paying. Why is it assumed they would have to go after a free agent and not find another Miguel Gonzalez, Chen, or Norris? Don't understand why people are willing to forego a chance to strengthen our chances for a playoff run THIS year, for a player who potentially provides us a low impact in a couple years, that we can reasonably find on the cheap.
  14. Is there any story to why they froze Chris after his home run last night?
  15. http://www.csnwashington.com/baseball-washington-nationals/talk/cal-ripken-jr-interested-nats-job How would everyone feel about him managing the Nats? Unless Showalter wears out his welcome rather quickly (which for some posters it appears he has), the O's manager position won't be open for a few years. He has spoken numerous times about getting back into the game, but it seems he is all over the place. I feel like there has been talked about ownership, GM-type role, and manager. What do you all think would be the best position for him?
