  1. Roy Halladay Died

You have no idea what Roy or his Wife were feeling. His wife didn't like the plane, she apparently had no idea about the supposed drug abuse. You know nothing just like the rest of us.
  2. Where are you guys seeing Cutch being included in a Cole deal? The Pirates aren't trying to get rid of Cutch in some sort of salary dump.
  3. Britton Out 6 months per Rosenthal

"Win or lose, the player is awarded a standard one-year MLB contract with no "minor league split" salary or incentive/performance bonuses. Also, the contract is not guaranteed, so if the player is released during Spring Training, the club would only owe the player 30 days or 45 days salary as termination pay, depending on when the player is released. (A player on an MLB 40-man roster receives 100% of what remains of his salary if he is released during the regular season)."
  4. Not trading away all their international bonus money would be a great start.
  5. Halladay spent 12 seasons wearing 32 and retired with 32 on his back. He only wore 34 in Philly because 32 was retired. It's a nice gesture, but I think he picked the wrong number.
  6. Yes, I read what was posted above. The pick isn't in the middle of the first round though, it's a comp pic that comes at the end of the first round. Based on what I've read that pick isn't going to be valued at anymore than $10M. Lets not forget that some teams also have protected picks.
  7. Bautista and Stephen Drew aren't on the same level and it's not even close. Even in a down year riddled with injuries he put up a 122 wRC+. He's still projected to put up nearly 3 WAR next season. Someone will give him a 1 year deal worth around $20M and he'll head into free agency again next year with no comp pick attached.
  8. Lets hope he doesn't spend anytime on the MLB roster.
  9. The beer tossing fan has been identified. http://www.metronews.ca/news/toronto/2016/10/05/alleged-blue-jays-beer-thrower-identified-ken-pagan.html Edit: looks like I was a minute late.
  10. Poll: Fireable Offense?

How can 80% be ok with this? Buck's going to be torn apart by the media tomorrow... as he should be.
  11. Poll: Fireable Offense?

Absolutely terrible decision from Buck. It's a one and done game and you don't use you best reliever? Anyone defending Buck here should give their head a good shake.
  12. It's going to be a long afternoon waiting for this game to get started. It's a strange feeling knowing this could be the last game of the season.
  13. David Ortiz

You don't find it a bit odd that nearly 1 in 10 MLB players are using this drug? http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/2015/12/01/mlb-joint-drug-report-therapeutic-use-exemptions-adderall/76634278/
  14. Even Williams and Hahn wouldn't consider a low ball offer on Eaton. He's in the second year of a 5 year deal worth just $23.5M and has 2 options at $9.5M and $10.5M.
  15. vs. BLUE JAYS, 6/19

The reviews are just part of the game now. Buck and every other manager in the league do the same thing.
