Please tell me someone saw the Mayweather-Ortiz fight. Absolutely bizarre.

I read what happened, and despite the ending, Mayweather was dominant, and would likely have won the fight anyway. The post match interview with Larry Merchant was a punk move by Mayweather, and just furthers his image as a bad person.

Defend yourself at all times is the rule in boxing. However sorry Ortiz was for the headbut he needed to get focused on the fight and he wasn't ready .

Also noticed the referee didn't seem to be looking at the fighters when punches were thrown. It's like he turned around and Ortiz was on the ground and didn't really see what happened. Just another strange boxing event !!

Yeah but you got to love Merchant's response "If I was 50 years younger I'd kick your ass" then he smiled. He knows the profession hes in.

I'd love to see Pacquiao lay him out, if that match ever happens.

So how do you guys think the sport of boxing is going to shape up? I know that the most talked about match up now is the one between Pacquiao and Mayweather though they both have their own assignments before they could probably face one another.

It seems like they are not too eager to dive as well, or that could only be said about Floyd. I am not taking sides here as I just want them to get it on already.

Watched the Pacquiao/Bradley fight tonight, and Manny just cruised the entire fight, winning nearly every round. The judges somehow though Bradley won the fight by a split decision, and I am dumbfounded as to how they could have come to that conclusion. It was won of the worst robberies in recent memory, and I've been watching boxing for about 35 years, and I won't be watching anymore. Boxing wonders why its losing fans, this type of crap is why.

That, good sir, is what you call a fix.

I know I shouldn't be shocked ... yet somehow, I always am. lol

Does anyone find it odd that a rematch date has already been set?

Looks like Arnum is backing off that a bit. The night before, he was talking about how much he'd make off a re-match.

Now, he wants an investigation. He won't schedule a rematch until the Nevada Attorney General opens an investigation into the 'scoring controversy'.

The fallout from the decision also sent shockwaves through sportsbooks.

“If you bet on Pacquiao at PaddyPower — Ireland’s biggest bookmaker — your ‘loss’ is being refunded,” said R.J. Bell of Pregame.com. “Manny Pacquiao opened Saturday as a -445 favorite. Because of all the line movement and late action on Bradley, he closed -397.”

How often do you see a "loss" refunded? Sounds like the judges really screwed the pooch on this ruling.

Nevada rules that there was no crime in Bradley's win over Paquiao ... but do so without even interviewing the three judges that worked the fight.

I understand boxing is dirty, but you'd think they would do a better job of trying to make stuff like this less obvious.

Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 tonight, another series of fights plagued by questionable judging.

I'd like to see Marquez pull this one out, giving Manny 2 losses in a row and perhaps lining up a Pacquiao/Mayweather fight finally.
