Ravens offseason thread

Trading Harbs and getting a solid return is my first priority. Flacco is next.

Who knows with the WRs. Snead is the one  I’d like to keep around because I like him as a short yardage safety valve that Lamar will need often. we won’t be able to maximize Browns skill set and Crabtree is too maddening.

Bring Suggs back. He probably has enough to remain a full time player, but if he doesn’t, we always can benefit from having him as a situational pass rusher.

Invest in OL and draft a real RB. Edwards and Dixon showed flashes, but so did Forsett and Collins. Give me a long term answer.

lastly, might as well keep Smith because other options are lesser and/or more expensive. Weddle is the one I look to upgrade.

Trade Harbaugh

Hire an offensive coordinator with an actual track record

Sign/draft 2-4 o linemen

Replace Crabtree with a more sure handed possession receiver

Sign Le'Veon Bell

Upgrade on Jefferson and/or Weddle

Trading Harbaugh will be huge for the draft.

Deonte Thompson is the CF type safety that we haven't had since Ed Reed.

Devin White MLB could be a good alternative to overpaying Mosley. He's being compared to Ray Lewis

Really would be a dream scenario. Probably too good to be true but yet again you have so many franchises out there looking for stability.

Get Harbaugh and his negative draft influence out of here, start drafting playmakers again. Hire some offensive minds. Get Petrino in here as QB coach or to even run the offense. Build a fortress of an o line. Get a couple possession receivers with super glue hands. Just customize everything for Lamar.

Defense is pretty stacked, but you upgrade a couple spots with young studs via draft ...

The Dolphins owner has ties to the Harbaughs and Michigan. He's a Michigan booster which is the reason he doesn't want to pilfer Jim.

Have you seen the names connected to them so far.

It's said Stephen Ross wants to make a splash .....He wants an accomplished coach.

So what moves do you make now that the season is over?

I’m really curious as to how DeCosta is gonna run the show. For me...

Trade Joe for whatever I can get.

Upgrade at FS (Weddle)

I think C and LG needs to be upgraded and possibly time to find a new RG soon. Yanda is still very good but he’s creeping up there in age.

I’m so torn on Mosley. He looks to be in quick sand in coverage but has times where he makes plays and I think He’s very good in the run game. I could go on but this is just off the top of my head.

Bell won't be the same player out of Pittsburgh next season.

Upgrade the offensive line, LG and C badly need upgrades.

Bring back Snead and find two more WRs. Brown isn't going to resign and Crabtree shouldn't be brought back.

Get rid of Jefferson, he is terrible.

Don't resign Mosley, he's going to get big money and isn't worth it.

I'd only resign Suggs if it doesn't cost a lot.

And wants more money than he’s worth.

Yeah, I wouldn't pay big money to a RB anyway. You can make any competent RB look pretty good if you build a strong line and have a good system. Theres a reason why every RB thats played for the Steelers while Bell has been out the last few years has done just as well or better than Bell.

I’m not sure I’d go that far cause Bell is pretty darn good and is one of the better overall backs I’ve seen. But he’s also a bit of a drama seaker and to me the risk isn’t worth the reward there.

Today the Chargers played 7 DBs on 58 of 59 snaps idk how we didn’t pound them more with Edwards. They played small and he’s a big boy. Lamar kept the ball to much IMO when he should have handed it off.

Need someone who can get yards receiving at running back. I think we do need to improve the offensive line.

I'm not saying Bell isn't one of the top backs in the league but using the Steelers running game as an example as why you don't need a high price RB. Bell is great and all but they've gotten great production out of guys like DeAngelo Williams, James Connor, and Jaylen Samuels.

    • Curve Halt Baysox, 7-0 Bowie stays one game back with Erie loss at Harrisburg.   BOWIE, Md. – Sean Brady tossed a complete-game shutout to lead the Altoona Curve to a 7-0 win over the Bowie Baysox in front of 4,973 at Prince George's Stadium Friday night.   Chris Sharpe hit a solo home run off Alex Wells in the fourth inning to break up the scoreless deadlock, while three RBI doubles by Jason Delay, Adrian Valerio and Sharpe sparked a 6-run fifth inning to put the Curve (29-33) ahead 7-0.    A bright spot for the Baysox (41-21) came from their bullpen, which combined to throw 4 2/3 scoreless innings after Wells was removed from the contest. Francisco Jimenez struck out a pair of batters in 1 2/3 innings, while Brian Gonzalez worked through two clean frames. Zach Muckenhirn completed a perfect ninth inning to wrap up a solid relief effort.   The Maryland Crab Cakes make their debut when they and Altoona square off in the penultimate home game at Prince George’s Stadium Saturday night at 6:35 p.m. RHP Michael Baumann (4-2, 2.31 ERA) faces LHP Cam Vieaux (3-3, 2.27 ERA).
