Drek's wife was WitchyChick (Tracy was her real name if I recall.)  I remember the starving artist in California but his name is escaping me.  Moscow Bird (later Tin Cup) and I used to discuss the Birds in the middle of the night, as it was his day time.  I miss my old friend.  If I recall correctly HanksGF never became Hanks wife, but I could be wrong there.  I wonder how CindyluvsBrady is doing?  I was always afraid I would come on here one day and read that she had passed, but hopefully she is doing okay?

No.  Witchy was/is Tracy and still posts here but not Drek's wife.  She is married to another Rob with a musical avatar (Baroquen).  He is on FB also as is Stacy.  Drek's wife's name escapes (edit: Joylene) but they have a band that plays in DC area.

Damn.  So the only thing I got correct was about HanksGF.

You keep correcting me like this Bob and you're gonna put Soprano out of work.  He was my "fact checker" back before that was a thing.

And don't count on me - I'm 40 years your senior!  I awoke this am trying to remember Amber Theoharris' name and all I had was Greek goddess.  Then I went to minor leaguers' names and got Zac Lowther, Keegan Akin and Jack Reinheimer so I knew I was ok .... or not far off.  Reinheimer I can forget cause he's gone in a month!

Saw Amber on NFL Network recently during the playoffs.  Seems to be doing okay with her career.

This is Drek - aka Chris Ehrich and his wife - Joylene

I can't wait to see my friends. I'd prefer to see Bikini Armstrong and Moose's mom, again, but everybody that has RSVP'd will do. ;)

I was hoping for a HanksGF sighting. Still in disbelief he dropped that lady! :ohlord:

These are from the Hangout Game night thread.  Looks like Snutchy got caught red handed above with Ms. Armstrong, and my love of HanksGF came through loud and clear.  lol

I resemble that remark!

Shack is still on FB and just had another birthday.  We hear Rob is still selling - but now realty not jewels (or if not @Can of Corn will modify).  How about Icteris Galbula?  I always liked Ty and Mashed Potatoes, Corey, the inner city school teacher!  Good men!  What about the guy who liked the band guy's (DREKTUNES) wife and was always broke asking for a loan?  Ahh yes!  Good times!  Southern Bird - whew!  Booze!  Mike Chance is still around because of his music thread and I see him on FB and Gram.  @scOtt can you help out a brother?

What about socalbirdfan?

That was you?  At 75, it's real hard to bring up former acronyms.  I have "friends" on FB that are no longer here and had acronyms here but on FB are their real names.  I have no idea who they are or were!!!!!   Here we have Aristotelian and Quixotic but lost Don Quixote!  We never had Sancho Panza!

    • Monday. vs. Royals.   Whichever Orioles pitcher is starting.  3rd inning.  Hunter Dozier hits it.
    • Oh man!  Big doings!!!
    • Scott Nashville is a musical town. Most people looking to make it as a singer, songwriter, or producer flock to either Nashville or LA. Nashville is diverse but there is plenty of country music concentration.  So ts not surprising that the artist reside in Nashville and it's likely the same booking agent was used to book them all. I think you are looking for coincidences that are probably not relevant. The fact that the Orioles are hosting country music events will make them no more or less popular in Nashville. As I mentioned a few times, I spent 12 years of my life in the music industry. The time included trips to LA, NY, and more visits to Nashville than I can count on my hands. Just my 2 cents!
    • I’ll say not necessarily.    It’s more about the quality of the performance than the former draft ranking.
    • The tie breaker is the prior year draft order so the Orioles win all ties.
    • To directly answer your question about Herb: he isn’t replacing Kremer in the Bowie rotation.    He’s already in the Bowie rotation, sporting a 2.25 ERA in four starts after being demoted to Bowie when Zimmermann was promoted to Norfolk.    It’s Sedlock who is taking Kremer’s spot, after pitching mostly relief and artificially short starts since his promotion to Bowie on July 17.    Personally, I’m looking forward to seeing how he rises to the challenge.    He did a nice job yesterday, 1 run in 5 IP.   He should get three more starts before the season ends.     Like I said, it’s a balance.    Kremer has pitched well enough to earn a promotion and has a lot of AA innings under his belt.   Getting him a head start on being ready to move up to the majors next year makes sense.    Sedlock has pitched very well this year, is behind schedule due largely to injuries and it benefits him to be in Bowie’s rotation.   Does the switch from Kremer to Sedlock hurt Bowie’s playoff chances?   Yes, marginally.  In this case, the developmental benefits seem to outweigh that.    The balance might be different if another set of players were involved.  Good luck to Kremer and Sedlock down the stretch.
    • Oh I misunderstood. I understood the comment to mean he was getting his MLB pay.
