vs. D-RAYS, 5/04

Recommended Posts

I thought so. From Roch:

Ryne Stanek is the opener for the Rays again after striking out three Orioles in the first inning on April 17. He worked the first inning in Game 1 of Wednesday’s doubleheader in Kansas City and allowed three runs and three hits with a walk.

Maybe I am just an old curmudgeon, But I could not possibly be less interested in the various ball park foods, and I see absolutely no benefit in a guy in a gal wondering around sampling food from various ball parks.

And isn’t the game more important then interviewing an Astronaut ? I think it’s absolutely unforgivable to have the game in the background while some reporter is interviewing some guy. We are here to see baseball, such as it is, and not hear inane interviews.

I'd be interested in interesting dishes served at various ballparks, for instance the grasshoppers they serve in Seattle.  I'm not interested in whatever 1500 calorie monstrosity they are putting out there.

Not the best pitch by Dylan but the guy still almost swung at it. The floater up and in.

Probably. Astronauts are usually pretty strong in math and engineering and science. 😛

Again from Roch:

Yonny Chirinos is now starting for the Rays instead of opener Ryne Stanek, a move based on the forecast.

WTF does that mean????? He pitches better when it's overcast?
