The Orioles will be taking the field for their 6th consecutive rubber match ........ they have lost the previous 5.

Marcus Stroman led the Major Leagues in losses, until David Hess pulled ahead of him with his 9th last night ........ Stroman will have a chance to catch back up to him in this game, although he has pitched much better than Hess has this season.

(Pre-Game Chatter)

On January 3rd, the St. Louis Blues had the worst record in the NHL, at 15-38-4 (34 Points.)

A little more than 5 months later, they became world champions for the 1st time in their franchise history (1967-68 Season - Present.)

To accomplish this amazing feat, the Blues went 30-10-5 (65 Points) over their final 45 games of the regular season, and then proceeded to win all 4 of their post-season series to claim the Cup.

When they had the worst record in the NHL a guy went to Vegas and put $400 down on them to win the Cup at 250 to 1.   So he'll be cashing a $100,000 ticket.

I'm not liking the O's chances in this one

We're as bad as they are. So we have a shot.
