  1. That's your problem right there. You are getting all riled up over twitteriots comments. Rubenstein can't help if the internet wants to run away with speculation on something like showing a picture of a desk at SS.
  2. Why, it's just a funny promo? Can't believe anyone took anything out of this at all. And who in 105.7 thought this teased a contract extension for Gunnar? Might possibly be the worse take in a long time.
  3. Maybe he heard the Twins are going to part with major disappointment Kyle Farmer soon?
  4. You are about the most petty person there is on this board. lol.... You are so upset that you got called out for your emotional, over reaction statement that Mullins was done that you literally went back to 2023 to dig up when I was wrong. Got to admit, I've seen some childish BS on here, but congratulations, this is right up there. Yes, I was wrong on O'Hearn. He looked like another DH/1B that Elias was stock piling at the time and nothing showed that his breakout was about to happen. O'Hearn proved a lot of people wrong to include me. Saying that, I did mention that O'Hearn's EVs suggested he could improve, but I didn't like the $1.4 million tag for AAA depth, which is what I thought he was since I felt Stowers would be the 4th OF/DH. See the difference is, I can admit when I'm wrong and I didn't make me statement after a few PAs this season. It wasn't an irrational thought that led me to my statements, but an analysis of the roster makeup and current potential roster options. O' Hearn outperformed all expectations and I'm happy he did. But if it makes you feel better, yes, I was wrong on O'Hearn.
  5. Nothing wrong with giving a counter point.
  6. I don't think Ced was ever fully healthy last year. He looks healthy this year for sure.
  7. If Ced was willing to take a 3-year deal buying out his last arb deal then yes, I think the Orioles have to consider doing that. Now, the question is, do they think Cowser can play CF adequately allowing them to open up LF? He doesn't have enough 2+ star attempts to judge his jump yet, but he's already at 2 OAA and he looks like the guy I've seen in the minors defensively. His sprint speed is 73rd percentile this year and Ced is only slightly faster at 78th percentile. The issue is that Cowser is a big dude and will slow faster than Mullins did. There is also Bradfield possibility in two years or so if he can start driving the ball more.
  8. Mullins is 14th in ft/per average, with all outfielders and I don't think it was updated since last night. That's still well above average. So yes, there are speedier outfielders but I still think that catch has to be higher than a 65% catch percentage.
  9. Eh, the board is here for all opinions. I don't always agree with opinions, but it's their right to have a negative opinion about a player. If they want to die on that hill when there is overwhelming evidence that he's wrong, so be it. A healthy Cedric Mullins is still a very good player. It was pretty clear he was not healthy for most of last season.
  10. Check out all the value "stats". 0.8 rWAR, tied for 2nd on team 0.7 fWAR tied for 3rd on team Anyway you slice it Mullins is still an everyday centerfielder.
  11. I'll be honest, the more I watch the statcast catch probabilities the more I think they need to tweak some things. Unless Mullins got a bad jump, which it doesn't appear so, I don't see how that is a 65% catch probability. Sure, there are some other great CFers out there, but damn, that looked every bit of a 5-star catch to me.
  12. I don't like to call people out for bad calls since we all make them, but have you changed your mind yet? Mullins is one of the guys I might extend because we don't have a pure center fielder above High-A that could be an above average centerfielder both with the glove and the bat.
  13. Hyde is too worried about relievers who give up a few hits. I get it in close games, but up by four?
  14. What, you were afraid he'd give up the two runs like Cano did anyways? RHB have slashed 133/.133/.200/.333 off Akin this year before this game. He gave up two hits. Yes, I would have kept in him and hoped he could give me two innings. But unlike Hyde, I'm not a huge proponent of running through my relievers on a nightly basis and take releivers out with 4-run leads when they run into a problem.
