  1. Hyde is too worried about relievers who give up a few hits. I get it in close games, but up by four?
  2. What, you were afraid he'd give up the two runs like Cano did anyways? RHB have slashed 133/.133/.200/.333 off Akin this year before this game. He gave up two hits. Yes, I would have kept in him and hoped he could give me two innings. But unlike Hyde, I'm not a huge proponent of running through my relievers on a nightly basis and take releivers out with 4-run leads when they run into a problem.
  3. Baseball. Cowser hot as crap and now looks like he's never seen a changeup or breaking ball outside.
  4. Looks like Hyde is determined to burn through his bullpen in a 7-2 game.
  5. That was cool because of the importance if that passage.
  6. Westy is 3-for-3 with 2 RBI.. He might be there!
  7. Hernandez already sued MLB once for discrimination. They are not going to chance that again.
  8. You guys can make all the excuses you want for Hyde. BS frickin' move. You don't pull your starter there. You just don't. I don't like that kind of managing. He just became Kevin Cash. Screw the starter, screw the plate, if the SIGBOT computer says there is a .1% better chance of working out in their favor he makes the move. If the hitter was in scoring position, maybe. Two out, guy on first, give him a shot.
  9. I don't care if Tate got one of the two guys out that he faced, that's the kind of Kevin Cash robo-managing that will lose you a clubhouse longterm. So disappointed in Hyde. He just showed me he doesn't have any feel for a game, but will follow the robo manager script no matter what.
  10. I'll be honest, I almost hope Tate gets beat around just to prove to Hyde and his robo managing tendencies that you have to give your guys a chance.
  11. 100%. No way that should happen. That is a 100% SIGBOT era pitch change. No feel for the player or the team by taking a starter out here.
  12. It's bushleague move by Hyde. Irvin was at 82 pitches and pitching pretty decent overall. Hyde was on autopilot. SIGBOT says Irvin can only go two times through an order so no matter what, he pulls him. It's damn BS.
