  1. Yes, but remember when you dared to have the temerity to say that a $1.4 million AAA DH with horrific career numbles was perhaps a questionable signing?
  2. lol yes agreed. I feel like every six years there is a desire to reinvent big breaking sliders into a new pitch. I always wonder how often announcers just call pitches off whatever Gameday equivalent they have in the booth
  3. Gameday has it as a sweeper, but I'd be curious how he describes it. Very nasty either way.
  4. The six-seven-eight of Cowser-Westburg-Holliday just shows that good things come to those who wait. The kid will be fine.
  5. Totally--and like I said, defer to those actually watching. Just trying to understand the "hope he's not hurt" stuff. Just seems like a guy with electric stuff not having a truly dominant start.
  6. I defer to everyone watching the game, but if I didn't have gameday open, I'd assume Grayson was sitting at 91-92; had given up five runs in six innings; and had allowed 10 hits. Six innings of two run ball with a 2-1 K/BB ration while pumping 98 seems like...a pretty good performance.
  7. I'm watching on gameday, but other than being a bit wild, why are we worried Grayson is hurt? His velo looks fine.
  8. I'm sorry your childhood memory was so short lived. Blame Cow Town.
  9. Weather in the area has been bad this spring, to be fair. Literally hailed today, at least in D.C.
  10. You're not wrong that in-booth chemistry is real, and it doesn't take working together everyday to have that. I just know that, when you spend every day with a dude, you're going to try to get under each other's skin if you actually have a real-world relationship.
  11. I have a lot of coworkers I've worked with for years that I mess with subtly all the time. And they know I'm just f'ing with them. Later, they'll do the same to me. I think that's more of a sign of being tight than some massive disconnect.
  12. I had this written out in anticipation of a Westburg SO, so you're all welcome.
  13. Your heel turn as hater supreme of Kevin Brown is my current favorite OH subplot.
