  1. Do you hate Cal more or less than you hated the Angelos Cartel? Just trying to get a gauge on exactly how irrational you are about this.
  2. Agree. This is why I hope this doesn’t continue much longer.
  3. Remind me… Was Gunnar ever sent back down once he got up here? If that happened, I don’t remember it. I definitely think that Jackson is here to stay, but I wasn’t expecting his first week to be so anemic.
  4. Good reminder. But for an SP vs an everyday player, Jackson may only get a few weeks. Hope it doesn’t come to fruition. I’m not familiar with his scouting report, but he seems to be swinging at a ton. Is that his game, or is he just young and pressing too much? Or both?
  5. Knowing this place, I’m not the only one wondering, but maybe I’m the first one to put it out there. How long of a leash does Jackson have before he’s sent down for a little reset like they did for Rodriguez last year? Obviously, I hope he makes this post look stupid by the end of the week, but I do wonder if there is any point at which a healthy Jackson Holliday isn’t on the big league roster.
  6. Cowser and Holliday could put ur offense over the top this year. Cowser is really locked in right now… fun to watch.
  7. There's only 1 reason why he was called into that office last night, and Buck was not hiding it well. LOL
  8. Watch me. You have no idea how high I can fly.
  9. I notice this sort of thing as well. But it doesn't have much context if you're not also considering where he's being pitched. I took a minute to look at his highlights from yesterday afternoon. He pulled the sac fly with some authority on an inside pitch. The 2 run double was low and down the middle, maybe a hair inside. Looked like he was letting the ball travel to me, so a good approach. The double off the wall was high and inside, which I thought was curious since he hit it with such authority. Combined with the other double, I think he was looking to go LCF at Fenway, which is absolutely a good approach there for LH hitters. No sense in trying to go to CF, RCF, or RF at Fenway; that's where fly balls go to die.
  10. This is the even more exciting thing here IMO. Yes, J-Ho is going to be fun to watch. We probably have the best MI combo in the galaxy for the next 5 years now. But there's STILL more to come and our ceiling will be pushed even higher.
  11. Why not? We've made it about everything else.
  12. Aiden Hutchinson was the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft recently. I think they're playing other sports.
  13. Funny you mention that, because I'm 99% certain we got drunk Ben McDonald the day we beat Tampa in extras to take the season series from them. I don't think KB is much of a drinker. I looked at his Twitter a while ago, and I think he is or was a big runner.
