A big part of what caused Means to take the step forward he did was an increase in velocity. 2018 Means went 3.1 innings and gave up five earned runs.

Folks say that college bats are more of a sure thing but look at Spencer Torkelson. I'm not calling the guy a bust, he's in the majors, but he's not a generational hitter by any stretch of the imagination.
