    I don't think anyone cares about paying Kemp beyond thinking that money could have been better allocated elsewhere.

    The thing is, Gunnar was walking a ton early last year (had 29 walks through May) and he wasn't hitting well. Once he started being more aggressive his offense came online. Do we want 17 walks with a 659 OPS or four walks with a 994? It would be great if he could combine the two approaches, but if I have to pick one, I'll let him stay aggressive.

    He made over 3M in his career, he's been working since he retired and the MLB pension is around 265K a year for those fully vested. Depending on how well his restaurant did he might have it.

    You are justifying not spending to support his minor league teams because he needed the money for his new wife? I don't find that a compelling argument.

    That it looks like his framing and throwing isn't as good. It's my opinion so six games seems sufficient. Boy you are really looking to pick a fight today aren't you?
