  1. Well.. the OH has a few things you could do right now Mr Rubinstein.. lol
  2. The new owner simply assuring the GM that if Elias and his team believe additional resources would help their plan this year then they can be made available is not meddling but simply acknowledging that he and his group have significantly more resources than Angelos.
  3. It is not clear at all who made the call on this and of course we will never know. But the one thing that has been consistent is the Orioles under this ownership NEVER gets the free agent if any other teams are competing for them . The only major mega free agent sign was Chris Davis and there Angelos was schnookered to be bidding against himself. Winning in 2024 which had seemed so much of a priority with Burnes trade and new ownership now has taken huge steps backward with injury to Bradish (imho the Os PR aside the odds are he will have to have TJ surgery this year), the continuing uncertainty and current unavailability of John Means, the huge failure to keep Jackson on this team from the opening bell, the failure to sign any other starting or bullpen help at all.. and now not topping a 25 million one year deal to an ideal top notch playoff and World Series pitcher to try to win in 2024. No we get Tony frigging Kemp! This team certainly has enough talent to overcome these mistakes by Elias and by ownership but certainly it does not demonstrate the type of commitment I wanted to see as to winning it all in 2024.
  4. Rest in peace. God’s blessing on his family. He dif much good for maany people battling cancer etc !! Let’s go win a championship for him!!
  5. I predict Mateo thrives in superutility role and his bat contributes way beyond expectations in 2024.
  6. He says that now .. he didn’t say that then. Bradish may still likely need TJ surgery at some point imho .
  7. Sorry .. I just looked at the case study link you cited ..
  8. We need another bold nonAngelos move.. Sign Snell or Montgomery, Mr Rubinstein and we will love you!!!
  9. ADAM FRAZIER? Adam was responsible for many clutch exciting moments of those 101 wins!!. The “Shohei Who? “ hr, the MFY HR off the foulpole at Yankee Stadium, Judge falling on his face, and of course the last series Rays clutch double off Fairbanks in the ninth which was a great moment and sounded like the Delmon moment !! .. show me the Bryan Baker highlight reel? You can keep your fWAR.. give me moments like these!
  10. Given my natural pessimism.. my immediate thought was Bradish -Tommy John, Means will continue rehabbing one injury or another all 2024, Gunnar will not be ready opening day and it will take him a month of not hitting and games playing to get up to speed and be who we need him to be, that Basallo will be set back this year. Other than that it was a good first day! Lol
  11. This is a single case study of a nonMLB high school pitcher.. the case also had no long term results mentioned.. did he ultimately fail conservative management?. I think the stress on an arm in the big leagues is vastly more intense. Which is why I believe PRP injections and conservative management usually don’t work.
  12. Dear Peter, Thanks for the payday that never ends. Chris Davis PS… John … the new guys will still honor this right?
