1. I just look at their roster and yes, they have some talent, but guys like Nava, Carp, Steven Drew, Iglesias, Saltalamacjkaia, Napoli, Gomes, David Ross, Middlebrooks, whoever the hell also played 3rd for them when Middlebrooks wasn't playing well, etc etc. Felix Dubront, Koji retiring 395 straight batters etc etc I mean, a lot of these guys are has-beens or never-weres (this guy's dead! Cross him off the list!) and they came together and just rolled. Now they may lose Ellsbury and I really really think they're gonna get hit hard by the regression monster. Or maybe these guys are all awesome.
2. I'm on the record as stating that this entire Red Sox season was one large middle-finger stuck up at the regression gods. I expect them to finish 3rd in the division next year, at best. #hopeful

4. Bumping this. I got my Wild Card Game ticket refund today. It appears they kept $6 in fees but the rest I automatically got back. I didn't make any phone calls or anything so hopefully the rest of you folks are in the same boat.
5. No refund here. As of today, we are officially at 5 business days from last Friday.
6. This is complete bs. I love how they can take our money on a whim but it takes them forever to give us our rightful money back. Seriously, it was known as of last Wednesday that we were not hosting the Wild Card game. It's been a freaking week -- it can't take this long.
7. Hmmm I wonder if that's 3-5 days from when it was official we weren't playing the game (Weds) or from the game itself (Fri). Either way I guess I should expect it somewhat soon.
8. Does anyone know when I can expect a refund for the tickets that I bought for games that were not played? I dropped a decent chunk of change on the WC game and could use that cash.

10. Pen has been worked a lot. I have no problem making the starters go as deep as they can, regardless of the score.
11. Interestingly enough, in my three years living there I met a ton of Orioles fans. Most of them were Rochester transplants who grew up rooting for the Red Wings.
12. Their dominance is over if they can't properly address their pitching. Both of these teams have severe starting pitching issues and CJ Wilson can't pitch for both of them.
13.

hahahahahahaha he's definitely one.
