Isnt Thorne like pushing 80 now. I dont think he's coming back but I did like him alot.

Hays pinch hit for a LHP and also O'Hearn was playing the OF so in that instance it made sense for Hays to get an AB. If it was a RHP he wouldn't have gone in.

It was Cal pretending thats where his office is. Rubenstein sent some fans into a frenzy thinking an extension was being signed there.

I don't think Hyde really cares about getting Hays AB's when Cowser, Mullins, Santander and O'Hearn are all hitting well. Best bat plays. Unfortunately for Hays. Whenever a slump or the inevitable injury happens, Hays can start seeing some playing time.

Yup, good luck, Perserverance pays off for him. Looks like he's a big leaguer after all. I didnt like that trade when it happened. but its almost 7 years later.

Personally I think he should dye his mustache a little darker if he's going to have one.. I can just barely see it.

Nothing in his minor league career suggested he would put up a 900+ OPS in the majors. And late 1st round picks seldom do anything of note with some exceptions. Of course its only April 17th but his heater is impressive along with the power he's shown.

He's having a shocking start to the season no question.

Westburg seems to have the requisite power to beat the Wall. Its not easy for some players but so far early in his career it doesn't yet seem to be an issue.

I didnt comment on this thread originally. But I would say O'Hearn has far surpassed all expectations. Good on him. Once in awhile sigs bot/AI gets one right. Kudos given.

Cowser's HR came off a LH yesterday too. His first career HR off one. Now has 2 hits in 7 PA's against LH this year.
