  1. David Rubenstein discusses Orioles purchase (mlb.com) Live stream link is not showing anything yet.
  2. Is it true they couldn't find a buyer for the team because of MASN? Thats pretty impressive the power Angelos held over that franchise.
  3. It's definitely eye opening that Angelos wouldn't OK this. Whatever. Todays the last morning he will be owner ( I hope)
  4. MS Copilot had this to say about Kemp. Its pretty informative: Tony Kemp, a versatile infielder/outfielder, has recently signed a one-year, $1 million deal with the Baltimore Orioles. The 32-year-old Kemp had been in spring training with the Cincinnati Reds, where he impressed with a slash line of .333/.391/.619. However, he had an opt-out clause if he didn’t make the Reds’ roster. Kemp spent the previous four seasons with the Oakland Athletics, where he showcased a career slash line of .240/.330/.345. His last season with the A’s was challenging, as he slashed just .209/.303/.304. Despite that, Kemp has consistently contributed with double-digit stolen bases, totaling 53 in his career. As a left-handed hitter, Kemp will provide an interesting option for the Orioles. He’ll likely serve as a left-handed bat off the bench and play a role similar to what Jorge Mateo will be playing. Although Kemp has only played two games at shortstop, it seems unlikely that he’ll fill in there. With Kemp joining the Orioles, Tyler Nevin becomes the odd man out after an impressive showing in spring training. Both Kemp and Nevin are out of minor league options. To make room for Kemp on the 40-man roster, the Orioles designated utility man Nick Maton for assignment. Maton was hitless in 17 games played this spring for Baltimore. Welcome to Birdland, Tony Kemp! We wish you the best during your time with the team!
  5. I'm sure AI was talking up Kemp big time. Just joking. I dont really know what its thoughts were. Clearly some type of advanced intelligence thought this was a good idea.
  6. It wouldn't be much of an issue if they opened March 28th in all warm-weather cities. Baltimore is kind of at the limit of what would be considered southern. Last year they opened March 30th in Boston and it was 38 with a 12 MPH winds. That isn't exactly ideal baseball weather, but might pass for OK in Minnesota.
  7. Yeah, that'd be cool. Im hoping for that exact thing to now happen.
  8. I dont really care that his interpreter bet on sports. Its not like Ohtani willingly gave him the money, unless Im way behind on the story.
  9. I think Rubenstein is going to take no prisoners and make Montgomery a competitive offer. He sees how close the O's are to starting a dynasty.
  10. I think the odds may increase dramatically if the ownership vote goes through Wednesday. Maybe not that it will actually happen.
  11. Had this T-Mobile setup last year. Now I use Visible. Is a cool perk.
