Cowser's HR came off a LH yesterday too. His first career HR off one. Now has 2 hits in 7 PA's against LH this year.

Agree was about to post Kimbrel's velocity has somehow come back. Huge if true. Has a 16.5 K9 so far in 6 appearances. Thats very Bautista-like.

On teams that maybe didnt have 4 good hitters you might put a #2 like that in there. Any manager who was thinking about sacrificing when his high OBP leadoff hitter got on base wasn't doing it right, I agree.

I dont think teams are doing it wrong if they went back to this philosophy. You want your best hitters at the top of the lineup and I doubt many managers would bat their best power hitter 2nd or 3rd. They want guys on base in front of them.

I actually didnt like the call. I think he goes over the top in his corniness at times. So he could tone it down alot. I prefer Thorne.

Thats cool. I think I have to give the edge to Mullins defending right now. Cowser's a huge guy for CF too, listed at 220 lbs on Bbref, but if Judge can do it...
