  1. O's have Fabian behind Bradfield and Mullins will likely decline after '25 when he becomes a FA. I think one of those two should be able to hold down CF. Beavers could be in the mix as well.
  2. Gunnar's definitely looking like the MVP of the Orioles and looks like priority #1 to me to get an extension. Burnes age works against him, because the O's maybe don't want to go longer than 5-6 years at most, but I could be wrong there. The Witt extension kind of set the parameters of what Gunnar will probably want at minimum. 2025 25 Kansas City Royals $8,111,111 2026 26 Kansas City Royals $14,111,111 2027 27 Kansas City Royals $20,111,111 2028 28 Kansas City Royals $31,111,111 2029 29 Kansas City Royals $36,111,111 2030 30 Kansas City Royals $36,111,111 2031 31 Kansas City Royals *$35,000,000 $35M Player Option 2032 32 Kansas City Royals *$35,000,000 $35M Player Option 2033 33 Kansas City Royals *$35,000,000 $35M Player Option 2034 34 Kansas City Royals *$35,000,000 $35M Player Option 2035 35 Kansas City Royals *$33,000,000 $33M Team Option 2036 36 Kansas City Royals *$28,000,000 $28M Team Option 2037 37 Kansas City Royals *$28,000,000 $28M Team
  3. He's still a rookie I believe so I dont mind Hyde or the wizards batting him lower for the time being. Dont want to put too much pressure on him batting him 3rd or 4th when there's plenty of vets that can handle that for now.
  4. If Santander has a career year, he likely will not accept a QO so in that scenario it possibly makes sense to offer him one. But if he finishes with a 775 OPS or around there, I'm not sure if he would accept the QO or not. Would a team lose a 1st round pick for signing him? I could see that severely limiting his market.
  5. He's going to need some versatility to get back to Baltimore. so it can cant hurt.
  6. I'll agree with you, any pitcher that relies on sweepers is on borrowed time if you look at the recent trends. Still a popular pitch for now though.
  7. The data says 4 seamers under 95 get hit harder than cutters and sliders/sweepers. Its an idea worth exploring I think.
  8. Yeah I'm a bit concerned that GR's new slider is reportedly 5 mph faster than last years version. Sounds a bit ominous to me.
  9. Isnt Thorne like pushing 80 now. I dont think he's coming back but I did like him alot.
  10. Hays pinch hit for a LHP and also O'Hearn was playing the OF so in that instance it made sense for Hays to get an AB. If it was a RHP he wouldn't have gone in.
  11. It was Cal pretending thats where his office is. Rubenstein sent some fans into a frenzy thinking an extension was being signed there.
  12. I don't think Hyde really cares about getting Hays AB's when Cowser, Mullins, Santander and O'Hearn are all hitting well. Best bat plays. Unfortunately for Hays. Whenever a slump or the inevitable injury happens, Hays can start seeing some playing time.
  13. Yup, good luck, Perserverance pays off for him. Looks like he's a big leaguer after all. I didnt like that trade when it happened. but its almost 7 years later.
  14. Personally I think he should dye his mustache a little darker if he's going to have one.. I can just barely see it.
  15. Bencosme is off to a blistering hot start in Bowie. Still only 21, hit another HR today, the 2nd link is a HR he hit on the 13th
