  1. I think he's more likely to just sell it. Probably for the best that way.
  2. Me too, thanks to the awful camera work zooming in on that can of corn
  3. Not a whole lot to nitpick in those lists, but I only looked at the AL. My takeaway: we can establish Yermin Mercedes as the absolute floor for Cowser.
  4. I think Hader's early struggles are a blip. He will settle in and be dominant. I also think his contract prevents the O's from being a realistic trade partner. Not happening.
  5. I think the big tipping point for this whole discussion was the AB he had yesterday with the bases loaded 1 out where he watched a 94 MPH fastball middle-middle on 3-2 and didn't even think about taking the bat off his shoulder. BRUTAL When taken in context with his overall struggles, that was an eye-opener that maybe his approach isn't good right now... that he's up there over-thinking and guessing pitches which leaves him unable to react in the moment. That was a really brutal spot to have such a poor AB, so it's got many of us thinking about his approach and whether he's just in his own head, or whether it's something he needs to work on more at a level where it won't continue to hurt the big league club. I have no answers, and I understand the stance by some that he needs to adjust to big league pitching by facing big league pitching, but it's not an unreasonable position to believe there's an issue with his approach that might be best worked on in a lower-stakes environment now that he's got a taste of what he'll be facing on a nightly basis in the majors.
  6. My brain still can't process the idea of the O's hitting on so many prospects in a short span. It just doesn't seem like real life after the past 30 years or so.
  7. Danny tells us all to step back from the f**** ledge.
  8. May be the year we find the limitations of a bullpen built mostly from other clubs' discard pile
  9. I've always hated the broadcast strike boxes. Distracting for no real benefit. The only time it's somewhat helpful are when we have a really bad camera angle at a visiting ballpark.
  10. Feels like this would be a 6-0 game at OPACY.
  11. They're bullpen is pretty good, and Marsh has been getting tagged at least once an inning. One run lead... seems like the right call to me
  12. Great points here. Has it ever occurred to Dean Kremer that he should just start pitching like a TOR guy?
  13. New Jon Meoli article about Dean's new offering: Jon Meoli: Orioles starter Dean Kremer has a new pitch this year. The early results are promising. - The Baltimore Banner A Kremer with more whiffs could get very interesting if he can command.
  14. Not to mention both Miller and O'Day could be counted on to get more than 3 outs if you needed it. I'm not sure you could top that bullpen even if you were able to hand-pick any three relievers in the game today. I'll never forget how fun that was to watch.
  15. If you roster a Rookie all year who wins MVP, the club acquires every 1st round pick from your division rivals in next year's draft. Oft-overlooked rule in the most recent CBA.
