I'm not a doctor, so if the O's are confident he is up to going back into the rotation as a full time starter, I suppose I will trust it. However, it makes sense to me to be conservative and manage his innings so he is in peak form in Sept/Oct. Of course, that takes for granted that we can get to the playoffs with him in a lesser role which may not be the case, but my inclination would be to stretch him out later rather than sooner.

Hopefully Means gets a rehab extension for another 30 days. If not, this seems right to me. Does Bradish go to the pen, or does he start with one of Suarez, Kremer, or Irvin pushed to the pen? I kind of like Bradish as an opener with Irvin backing him up most of his starts.

And you were right he probably should not have been out there! My hunch was not that he would be better but just that they would use the opportunity to rest Santander a bit while auditioning the kid.

Kjerstad is not remotely similar to Holliday in age or MiLB experience. It's OK to just admit when you are wrong sometimes.

Looked like the early '23 Grayson. Problem was missing in the zone leaving stuff middle middle to get absolutely hammered. I thought maybe he would have success against Trout since he has similar combo to Suarez of FB up and CH to RHB's. Guess not!

Definitely. Only question is whether we run out of outs. Grayson put us in a pretty big hole.

Seems like Adley is going to be a base hit machine this year.

Mountcastle is hitting well too. I'd rather have Mountcastle vs RHP than O'Hearn vs LHP.

Looked like Holliday might have decoyed the runner there. Either he was about to miss it, or he intentionally looked like he was about to miss it... Then reached back at the last second for the catch and out.

At least he got through a decent number of innings. He couldn't be worse than Johan Ramirez. If they don't let him extend his rehab I'd stash him in the bullpen for now.

I agree with the top two Bradish if healthy is #3 for sure but we don't know how he is going to hold up. I think a good case could be made for Suarez-Povich but they are higher risk than Kremer-Irvin who are at least solid
