    I also think pitchers were challenging Cowser based on last year. Now they will adjust. Hopefully he adjusts with them.

    I see your point but with two RHB coming up and Akin's career splits, I'm OK with Cano there. But I am pretty biased against Akin for some reason

    Is the MASN camera angle really bad? I'm watching on MLB.tv and Irvin is blocking the view of the plate, plus there is no strikezone box.

    Lol, OK. If you gave me 10-to-1 odds on them trading Miller this year I still wouldn't take it. 100-to-1, maybe. If he is on the market for cheap, sure, go for it.

    I do think his value increasing is a good bet, but more importantly 2030 is a long time from now. They could easily be competitive by then under new ownership. Would be very unusual for a rebuilding team to trade a propsect with six years of control, even one as far from contention as Oakland. Maybe you can think of an example but I can't.

    I think most would prefer Santander most days but everyone not named Gunnar needs a rest now and then. Right now it seems Hays is the odd man out but I'm not faulting Hyde for trying to find him some opportunities.
