I’ve seen him K on a couple of pitches off the plate he didn’t flinch on. They were not strikes, he took them, they were called strike 3.
It’s encouraging to me to see him not expanding the zone too much yet.
Do they do MRI's along the way during these rehabs to see if the ligament looks any different/better? Or do they just fire in the PRP and hope for the best?
Now that I have scrolled through 37 pages of takes to confirm that I didn't post mine, I'll say that I was overjoyed with this move when it was initially made.
I think he almost dropped a couple - one the ball straight up slipped out of his hand, the other I think the same thing happened and he just kind of palmed it over there. Both ended in outs, so I was just chalking it up to a wet, cold ball.
