  1. Assuming an OBP of .350 I am guessing? Which I guess is highly independent from player to player. If you had Joseph coming to the plate last year I would think you are sending any runner you possibly can...
  2. And now I see you already made that crack so... doesnt keep my from cringing.
  3. Exactly and Roch gave him crap for it as well saying he was still slow!
  4. I cringe when JJ Hardy is on second base and there is a single... Might as well just tell the runners to go station to station when anybody gets on base.
  5. I think he will be an on base machine. Will he hit for power? No. But I think he will be a solid defender who gets on base and can swipe a bag or two. That is something this lineup desperately needs; someone who doesnt clog the base paths. Last year was his first taste of MLB pitching and he hit a slump before getting hurt. Will he be an All-Star? Probably not. But I think he will be a solid contributor to the team.
  6. Yeah his minor league numbers suck... I mean in 2015 he only hit .321 OBP .427 and OPS .874 with 23 steals- I mean thats just horrible. His career minor league OBP of .390 is meh as well.
  7. 4... 5 if you count David Hernandez as an ex Oriole. 5/35 is 14%
  8. Wow quit a few of them are Os pitchers...
  9. Glad we didnt go after Cashner...
  10. Absolutely it does. And if another domino falls... well I never hope for someone to get hurt but maybe Porcello falters a little bit. The RedSox are going to be the team to beat this year. Their offense is young and good (although they did lose Ortiz) and their pitching should be good as well. Os will need some breaks and will certainly need Gausman and Bundy to make the next step.
  11. It will but that rotation still projects better than Baltimore's in my opinion unless ERod falls flat. Unfortunately we dont have the firepower to match Sale or the version last year's Porcello.
  12. Yeah wow. That might make them one less lefty in the rotation, and would still leave them with 3. Crazy but the RedSox are stacked with lefties in their rotation.
  13. SMH- standing straight up? Maybe that zone would fit Reimold and Davis and about 2% of all major league players. But batters crouch down into a batting stance. Altuve would be called out on strikes on a ball above his head when he is in his crouch... lol
  14. And worse yet, they might have Tanaka and Pineda back then
  15. Uuuuuugggggghhhhhhh really? I havent gotten that far in the schedule. I just know we play Toronto tonight and then St Louis and then the Yanks. St Louis is not going to be a picnic although their offense isnt what it use to be. I hope the starting pitching is able to hold them down and the offense gets back on track. We need a win tonight; really need a win tonight to get some more separation. Then I believe after St Louis the schedule gets a little easier with the likes of Clev, ChiCubs, WhiteSox... Just need to keep taking 2 out of 3 and I will be a happy camper.
