1. Wow, It is very fortunate that no one was killed. It is also disturbing that Kang claimed that someone else was driving the vehicle. This guy needs to take responsibility for his actions and get some professional help. Baseball needs to take a backseat until He gets his life together. I find it very curious that the Pirates gave a guy millions of dollars without checking into his background which includes DUI's.

 3.

Thanks for the rep. I think that mdbdotcom nailed it in his post. It makes sense because the guys pitching in the seventh inning on have good stuff and are only going to throw 30 pitches or so. You are not going to wear those pitchers out by taking strikes. You are more likely to be looking at an 0-2 or 1-2 count.

 4. Disagree. His numbers don't lie. He was the perfect set up man for the bullpen at that point in time. They may have won the division without him, but once they acquired him it was game over if they were up by a run in the seventh.
 5. I think one of the reasons the Orioles made the push to acquire him was to keep him away from the Tigers. The Tigers bullpen was a mess last year and Miller would have been their closer had they acquired him. I beg to differ that he has not a difference maker. He was pretty much lights out in the set up role once he was acquired. Here's a bit of his pitching line from last year with the Orioles (from Baseball reference): 23 games 2-0 1 save 1.35 ERA 20 IP 34 k's 4 BB WHiP 0.600. You may disagree but I think he made a difference in the stretch drive.
 6. I think it's too early to classify this trade as one of the worst trades in team history. Miller was a piece that helped greatly during the stretch run last year. The Orioles are pretty deep in starting pitching and they dealt one of their prospects who has pitched really well for the Red Sox in a couple of starts. The Orioles never won anything with davis, they went to the playoffs with Miller in the fold.
