Really? That's too bad. Maybe their defense is putrid? He would of been a good safety net. But I guess they could not expect three starters to go down? I kind of think they should of gotten one more guy in spring training when they knew two were down and there is no guarantee either one comes back this year. Should of spent some of Rubensteins money.

I did think we should of gotten another arm this year. I really thought we should of kept that dude from last year who I forget already.

So let me get this right. Cal Ripken is the John Angelos of minor league baseball? Does he let people ask him questions on MLK Day?

We don't know Cal's current finances. He might still be paying off Kevin Costner. I mean who knows? You are mad at him because a couple prospects have said the stadium is dark? What else is wrong with his minor league ownership?

Before anyone gets crazy calling Cal a cheap owner of a minor league team you got to remember he had to pay for a divorce and has to finance a new woman to levels she thinks she is worth. None of this is cheap. Now I can admit to some occasional annoyances with Ripken but can anyone explain the Cal hate? I know he likely hurt the Orioles over the years pursuing a meaningless record when he could of sat down and healed up. Especially the start of 1992 when he was clearly not right and put on a massively suck filled show. I know you can make the argument his personal stats and the Orioles stats would of been better if the dude just took a break. But what has Ripken been doing in the last twenty years to get hate? I must of missed it.

We should chant at the Red Sox every chance we get "Your not our rivals, your not our rivals" The douche Red Sox fans used to do that to Baltimore back in the 07-11 era. It was back when their announcers used to call Camden Yards "Fenway South" and Manny Rameriez hit his 500th home run just barely over the left field wall in Camden and he said "I am so happy to do it here where the fans could celebrate with him" I have long since hated Boston way more than NY......at least for 15 years. Can't even remember how happy I was when Boston beat NY in 04.

I say it again if Cowser and Westburg turn into impactful players the Orioles are going to mash for years. And both have been kind of over looked. But technically they are both first round picks so they got the upside bloodlines.

I learned to eat FF with Mayo in the Army in Germany. The natives there did it. Heard it was started in the Netherlands or something. I still do eat it that way once in a while. Taught my family to do it.
