Brnovich with an impressive first start last night. He always had great breaking stuff, just limited by his velocity. Was throwing as hard as 96 last night. If he sustains that he’s definitely put himself on the prospect map.
The Marlins are the rare case of being awful and having an excellent young controllable starter. We have a few surplus prospects. Make a move before someone beats us to it.
Charles throwing a 90 mph change up. Don’t see that every day. Gotta figure we’ll be seeing him sooner rather than later in Baltimore. I’ve never actually seen him pitch.
Cowser, Kjerstad, Stowers, Norby are all MLB ready. Mayo too, but I’m just talking outfielders. If we’re not using that depth to go get someone like Luzardo (Marlins are awful!), we need to make some room.
I’m a believer in Cowser, but I really didn’t like him up there in that spot…..was an invitation for weak contact and a game ending DP. But I agree, he needs regular PT.
I have a real soft spot for Santander/Mullins/Hays, but this year with them feels like the Beatles going in to record Abbey Road…..the era is ending. Cowser/Kjerstad/Stowers/Norby are all MLB ready outfielders. This logjam is nutty.
For walk up, starting at :22. This has been my go-to hype song for a few years whenever I compete. But something about the muted/dirty guitar that comes in with the vocal is what stays in my head while I’m competing. I try not to use it too often though so it keeps its status.
