  1. I wouldn’t think anybody has much more than 5 starts so far. Still tons of players in camp
  2. Agree 100% with the Povich assessment. I just don’t see major league stuff at all and I’ve seen him multiple times. Kind of reminds me of a tad harder throwing Brian Matusz. Hope I’m dead wrong
  3. Also have to remember we’re a much bigger player in the Caribbean market now
  4. Positions at this age don’t mean much, so much can change with the maturation process. Plus you want the best athletes
  5. Impressive day for Mordan yesterday. Hit the ball hard 4 out of 5 AB's, got robbed by the Braves 3rd baseman on a great play or would've had 4 hits. Haven't seen him catch, played 1st yesterday. Deleon has some serious life on his fastball, hit 96 multiple times and was sustaining it all the way to the 5th inning. He needs some work on his command, but with his frame and a little better use of his lower body in his delivery, I believe he might be able to add more velocity. For people hoping for a resurgence from M Hernandez, didn't see anything yesterday suggesting it's on the horizon. Stowers looks like he's ready to get back to Norfolk, lined both hits to right with authority
  6. Why are people obsessed with the way he looks? The kid can hit, just enjoy watching him play.
  7. Looks like Wagner is getting his legs. In May 286/412/619 with 4 HR's could be turning the hot corner
  8. This and he seems to struggle with off speed stuff either side. Yesterday Nolin was a crafty lefty and really had the Tides off balance. These are the games I watch closely and realize there is still a learning curve for these hitters, although the numbers look really good
  9. Agree with bpilk here. This would be a good time to swap Westburg for Gunnar, just for a breather and Westburg deserves a shot
  10. Another nice start from Rom. 5IP 2H 0R 2BB and 5K. He’s definitely going to get some consideration the way the current starters are going
  11. I don't see his stuff playing as a starter. He doesn't have the command and his stuff ticks down while starting. I say he's going to be a bullpen arm and he'll be able to just let loose. Hopefully, he can become a little more consistent than Tanner Scott.
