  1. Then Nick would pass the Maton to Jackson.
  2. I wouldn't mind trading Norby for a potentially dominant young reliever.
  3. I don't think you have to worry. Yes, PE firms often buy companies, fire people, and reduce costs before eventually flipping the company, but Rubenstein won't do that with the Orioles. If anything it will be the opposite - he will increase the payroll significantly.
  4. I actually would give the Frazier signing a B. He performed better than expected in my opinion, and I think most didn't like the signing mainly because of blocking Westburg and Ortiz and never got over it.
  5. This is the most fun I've had as an Orioles fan for the reason you mention, and following our amazing farm system makes it all the better.
  6. Ortiz will be up after rosters expand. That seems pretty clear to me. There is no reason to make any big changes as long as we are winning. Mateo's speed will be needed in the playoffs.
  7. Povich has averaged 13.6K per 9 over the last two years. If he can harness his control he would be a beast.
  8. If you paid attention to Cowser's minor league history you will know that he struggled at first in Aberdeen, Bowie and Norfolk, then got into a groove. He has been very consistent at all levels.
  9. Mateo's speed is special and he's a good defender. Urias is a good bench player since he can play many positions and has an elite glove, but we have a cheaper version with more upside in Joey Ortiz.
  10. To add a new name, I'd like to see Jordan Westburg win the starting 3B job by May and hit .285 with an OPS over .800. He and Gunnar are close friends and I hope to see them play together for a while.
  11. I had Elieser Hernandez on my fantasy team the last two years and can tell you he gives up a ton of homers. He misses a lot of bats, but gets hit very hard.
  12. Sounds like Cadyn Grenier except we got him with the 257th pick instead of the 37th pick.
  13. I want Jones or whichever HS bat Elias thinks has the most upside. I think we will get just that. My guess is that Elias knows this is probably our last chance to have the #1 pick, so it makes sense to take the best player available.
