  1. Yeah I'll still go with '92 in my lifetime but yesterday was pretty great. I never felt the ire for Angelos family - not that I wasn't frustrated with a lot of things they did, I just wasn't going to give them the power to take away my joy of Orioles baseball. But many went the opposite direction, and that's fine, and it's nice to welcome all of those folks back into the fold. It's a honeymoon period for Rubenstein for sure right now.
  2. I think Eve gets plenty of recognition, or at minimum as much recognition as anyone else in her position. Sig obviously gets a little special attention because of his background and Elias as the GM is going to get the lion's share of the credit.
  3. I see nothing from the way this FA has worked thus far that makes me think Ortiz would have made the OD roster. I think Hall certainly would have.
  4. Off the beaten path, I'll say Trace Bright and Aron Estrada. Bright had a few really awesome games last year but was inconsistent. Estrada had a great DSL year in 2022 but got hurt early last year and never seemed to get going.
  5. I've done all I can to give up soda and have been mostly successful, but sometimes I still get that craving. I prefer Pepsi but frankly they both are liquid crack to me.
  6. Yup. I'd take Jackson and has nothing to do with homerism.
  7. Not guilty. I barely pay attention.
  8. If I had to put money on it, I'd say no. But no sense in being a doom and gloomer. I'll continue to hope for the best.
  9. Irvin was a turd of an acquisition at the start. He actually pitched very well for us in the 2nd half. I think people forget that.
  10. Of course. So, another reason why that argument doesn't make sense.
  11. 1/3 is indeed a significant number. I think the argument was the statement all pitchers should just get TJ surgery from the start. Which they should not, for various reasons, including this stat.
  12. Meh. I've learned to take defensive MiLB reports, both positive and negative, with a pretty big grain of salt.
  13. First few days of ST are always a "hold your breath" sort of deal. Inevitably there are players that either have been dealing with an injury or get injured as they start to ramp up. I think in this instance unfortunately the injured players just happen to be all really important ones.
  14. The interviewer brought up Woodruff, Tim was just responding to the question.
