  1. Will the Sprinkler become the next viral dance move?
  2. maybe. He needs to watch Gunnar throw. he just winged one to Cano there on the DP. These guys are pros, they can take a zinger.
  3. can't really complain about that hit. He got him out in front and swinging at his shoetops and still managed to hit a line drive.
  4. Can Holliday stop throwing lollipops to first? That was a little too close to comfort.
  5. Cowser trading his batting helmet for a sombrero.
  6. I don't think so (I write as he gives up a 2-run double.) He's still got the same surgical precision with his sinker. If anything I think he misses a little too much in the zone, but his movement is good enough to make it work. I wish he'd miss out of the zone instead of in it, he gives up some loud batted balls when he misses in the zone. He needs to figure out how to make that slider work or drop it though. It's basically a waste pitch.
  7. Tate's velo is definitely trending up. Good to see.
  8. That was a hell of a play by the LF to cut that off with a bare hand.
  9. I'm stickin with Grayson and Corbin and pray for a pourin'
  10. He could go 0 for the next 29 and he'd still have an above average wOBA!
  11. Milkman's statcast batted ball numbers are off the charts this year, and those numbers become significant very quickly, in between 50-80 plate appearances. Even if you regress his performance to his career to date including his God awful MLB debut, you still end up with a player comparable to Kyle Tucker. And his current level of performance is so high that it'd be hard not to see even more upside than that. Even with the caveat that he hasnt hit the number of PAs needed for his batted ball data to be significant, I'm totally fine jumping the gun here, at least a little bit. I'll say that homerism only accounts for 20% of that. I also called for Cowser to be demoted fairly quickly last year for the same reason - his statcast batted ball data was horrific.
  12. Means has been right on schedule for like a year it feels like. I think you can only count on 1 out of the 2.
  13. Well when Baumann comes in for the 10th and walks the bases loaded I need a little more alcohol to forget about him.
