  1. https://x.com/afkostka/status/1772247998753300920?s=20 We can all rejoice and start fighting by the 7th inning again
  2. And this thread has ran its course. I’ll let Tony reopen if he sees fit. If not, it’ll get reopened if the Orioles sign him, or it’ll get moved to the MLB section if someone else does.
  3. I did it. I cut the cord. I couldn't justify paying $253 every single month anymore for a service that I only use for MASN. To add salt to that wound, they were going to charge me more money eventually! Here's what I did - I started talking to an Xfinity rep on Reddit. Yes, Reddit. They have a whole subreddit that has Xfinity reps as mods. I sent them mod mail and began the process. Told them I wanted to bring my own gateway and don't want their equipment anymore. They gave me a link to see which aftermarket gateways were compatible with their service. I bought the Arris G36 modem/router. Keep in mind that Xfinity charges $15 a month, every month, for as long as you use their gateway. I paid $300 for it and the Geek Squad protection plan. It will have paid for itself in 20 months. I've had the same Xfinity gateway for 6 years now. I'll save you the math - I've spent around $900 renting that gateway. Never. Again. Once I got my new gateway online with current service, I reached out to that reddit team again. They offered me their Superfast tier for $95 a month at speeds up to 800 Mbps. I agreed to paperless billing and autopay, which reduced my bill to $85 INCLUDING fees and taxes. They were very upfront. It's over. I cut it. I'm saving $168 a month. I checked the upfront price for MLB Tv for the whole year and its $150. I'm going to buy that package and STILL save $18 this month. I'll figure out a VPN before the season starts. If you're considering it, do it. It's very freeing. I'm saving $2016 a year by getting rid of that garbage.
  4. Bauer is an automatic reject on Facebook page at this time. It’s relentless.
  5. I’m doing it. I’m pulling the trigger and cutting cable. I just went and bought the Arris G36 modem/router and am in talks with a Comcast rep to downgrade to internet only. I don’t even want to rent a modem from them at this point. I just paid a $253 bill. Never again. I’ll get a VPN and pay upfront for a MLB subscription for the year. We only watch Netflix anyways. Screw cable. I’m done.
  6. I know this isn’t the answer you’re looking for, but you’ve already found the best Orioles coverage you’re going to find right here.
  7. That last double he hit was absolutely nuked off the wall and missed being a HR by a foot. He looks like Judge standing in the box. He’s a big dude.
  8. Hot off the Fort Myers press today, courtesy of yours truly.
  9. This is why I didn’t want to make the drive to Sarasota. They’ll bus the kids to Fort Myers instead! I’m excited!
  10. I’ll be in Fort Myers Monday for the Phils/Sox game and again Wednesday for the O’s/Twins.
  11. I’d rather settle for Dexter Fowler randomly showing up at the Cubs camp over this.
  12. I think keeping it close to the vest kept his price down. I don’t think they’re overly concerned about the injury because they wouldn’t have traded DL.
