    I don't know why anyone would think that it meant they were going to sign Gunnar. It was put on a tee that Cal would have his desk at SS and there was a promo coming.

    People whined about Angelos for 20+ years, and Rubenstein is already getting grief after a month. You can't make everyone happy, especially those on the OH.

    There was a lot of shade on the Mayo signing too. Not a first-round talent, nobody else wanted him as an over-slot. Elias is an idiot and should be fired.

    Vazquez had a 65 OPS+ last year, it's 8 this year. He played 102 games and I guess they like his defense and prefer Jeffers offense. They definitely aren't keeping him fresh for his bat.

    That's a great question. I'm sure if they feel discomfort at all they likely would, but that's just a half-assed assumption on my part.

    I think they want to know quickly if he's going to bounce back ( hate that new term in baseball) or if he's probably going to need surgery.

    Gunnar murdered a ball off the bat at 110 that ended up being a really routine groundout because it hit the mound and slowed down. The xBA was still .590 on that play.

    This was pretty cool too. 28.3 feet per second and covered 70 feet. The play took 4.2 seconds which is fitting on Jackie Robinson day.

    Damn, he might win Electric Play of the Week again this season, he won it for the catch he made in Pittsburgh in the 11th inning on the 6th.

    Yeah, going to his left he'll be fine, he'll be hard-pressed coming in on rollers and around the bag, with a fairly speedy runner I think. He'll be fine.

    I also think you are struggling with the fact that games caught and games played are two very different things. Adley is not being overused as a catcher.
