Mayo has a total of 4 errors this year. From eye witness accounts, one was weather related, Mayo slipped in the rain trying to pick up a ball...another one was ruled an error when most scorers saw it as a very tough play and should've been ruled a hit. The other two were errors. Mayo has soft hands and great reflexes and a great arm...he could play a solid third base(but WESTBURG isn't going anywhere ) he could play 1b, or even the outfield.I think he might end up as a DH.

I dont know if this is pertinent to the post...but I want people to see this quote about ONE of the prospects in question: " I resisted writing about Mayo last week, as he just continues to impress, week after week, and how many times can I write that he hits the ball really hard, hits it in the air, doesn't swing and miss very much and is very young? So instead, I'll just hope that he'll be up in the majors soon so I don't have to find new ways to express just how elite of a prospect he is. Jordan Westburg's emergence has perhaps clouded the immediate future for Mavo, but there's no question he's shown everything he needs to. He's going to play.And maybe play a lot. The Orioles didnt bring him up to sit.And he showed glimpses of power and hitting ability even last year. He only had 30 at bats. He may get more this time.

He's 35...Mariano Rivera retired at 43....Kimbrel was good early last year too. But faded late and in the post season...But the Orioles are in desperate shape for the bullpen. Maybe Well, at some point can help close...or even Suarez down the road.But right now Kimbrel is already overworked.The Os have to go to the well too much.

Right now, as a complete all around player,I believe Westburg is performing best on this team..
