  1. It will be interesting to see how comparable the punishment is for the Red Sox. Does Manfred dare as severely punish the almighty Red Sox and their national fan base?
  2. I will be there 3/21 - 3/28. We are hoping to catch one of the final two games. My kids want to see some of the minor league camp and hopefully catch up with Adley as he went to HS nearby. Did anyone have trouble buying tickets through the "pre-sale" link the Orioles sent? It kept erring out on me.
  3. I don’t recall a bigger smack down on a home team in a hyped game on national TV in a long time. Nittany Lions were bigger, faster, stronger and better coached. Terps will struggle he rest of the way.
  4. This quote tells me there was a clash of philosophies: “I’m not happy, not at all, that they don’t see a value in what I do. And they’ll spin it some other way: A reallocation of resources and new people and a different, fresh set of eyes,” Surhoff said. “OK, except my eyes have 35 years of experience in pro ball.”
  5. I see a win against Rutgers and a close loss against Indiana at home. Other than that I see a lot of boat race losses. The inability to develop guys to win in the trenches and failure to develop a QB continues to doom this program.
  6. Blach is having the worst inning I’ve seen in a LONG time
  7. I’ve seen Mick against our local HS and at my son’s baseball sacademy. Kid throws easy gas and a humble kid.
  8. I’m surprised that Tillman hasn’t gone up to Driveline in Seattle or a few of the other schools known for increasing velocity and helping in pitch design. I guess he’s just given up and content in retirement.
  9. My friend teaches HS math with ARs mom. I texted her to see if Mrs R is giving any “tells”. I really hope it’s Adley.
  10. Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, I didn't see it. The Athletic has an excellent article on the Astros approach to minor league pitching development. Take a look at it if you have the subscription. It sounds like Holt was a great hire for the O's and perhaps they will adopt/improve the Astros' cutting edge approach.
  11. https://www.mlb.com/video/mlb-tonight-adley-rutschman Harold Reynolds talking with AR on MLB Tonight
  12. What other progress has been made? Any technological advancements? Any key hires?
  13. What if you could get Joe Mauer like production out of Adley? Both guys were tremendous athletes at similar age, both sweet, efficient swings. No brainer.....
