2007 GMC Yukon SLT: Instrument Cluster Question
I got this truck about six weeks ago and love it so far, but yesterday I noticed a mechanical sound coming from the instrument cluster. It is a pretty faint sound and isn't really bothersome, but I'm trying to figure out if this is a normal operating sound or if there is some sort of problem with my cluster. I'm new to American cars and SUVs in general, so I'm not familiar with this thing yet.
Any insight would be appreciated.

How many miles? Is it still under warranty? I would think it also uses an electronic speedo. Older cars had geared ones that ran off a gear in the tranny to another in the dash. It is possible, but not likely. Honestly I would say the dealer (eek) would be your best bet to figure that one out.

The cluster could be bad, seems to happen a lot with GM's, between 300-400 to fix.
