Any other Reds on here? Mascherano isn't in the starting 11 or on the bench for todays game...guess he's gone...

Losing him will be massive, it will force Roy into using Poulsen, I think he was just bought as cover and to be a squad player. Citeh didn't deserve to win by three they just dominated possession didn't create many chances to be fair,Just a case of people not marking their man for their two goals. no idea why Roy tried to use the 4-4-2 should have stuck with the 4-2-3-1 and put Gerrard right behind Torrres, I need reminding this is only the second game and Roy's 5th match with the lads. On another note Adam Johnson oozes class he's going to be a special player along with Joe Hart. My summary of yesterday- out managed, out played, and out spent.

Here's the latest.

I thought they looked awful. I like Roy, but honestly going with a 4-4-2 was foolish. Torres never plays well with a second striker, but maybe he just felt Poulsen wasn't fit yet.

With emphasis on outspent. And I thought Chelski was bad a couple of seasons back.
I like Adam Johnson moreso than Milner. Milner may be the most overpriced player I have ever seen and I saw Milner play plenty when he was @ Newcastle.
Poulesn is not bad but he has not been first choice since he left Sevilla a few years back. I would think there is a reason.

Mascherano to barca, unreal how little he's been sold for.

We were never going to get more then 20 million quid for him.
Good news though:

Another weekend in the books. I wonder if Chelsea could pull an Arsenal and go undefeated through the season. They don't even have to try and they win easily.

Finally, international break is over. Shame Rooney is not playing- goodison would have let him have it.
