    Bundy finishing strong

    2nd straight scoreless outing for Bobby Bundy tonight - 6 IP, 4 H, 0 BB, 4 Ks.

ERA down to 3.45 for the year now. Great to see him put together an impressive year.

I am guessing that you mean that as in,"Hopefully he becomes our next HS drafted pitcher to breakout onto the prospect scene in a big way", not thata they profile similarly, right?

I remember Bundy was the big overslotter in his draft year. This is about where we all hoped he'd be by now and I'm very glad he's doing well.

I think most expected him to be doing what he's doing now last year. However, it's great that he's making such huge strides this year. It also shows the patience that is needed with these young guys. No reason to give up on Coffey and Wirsch despite their disappointing years, this year. Heck, let's throw in Hobgood as well, who's actually ahead of where Bundy was at this age.

I say we grab his brother next year in the draft and have two Bundys in our rotation.

Last I heard he was projected late 1st. If his stock doesn't drop it's doubtful he'll be an Oriole, but I would LOVE to have him in the system.

As much as I love drafting HS kids, I will be ready to crucify JJ if he picks any HSer with our 1st round pick unless we are somehow picking later than top 5 next year..

Aren't any of those pitchers you've been touting as excellent consolation prizes for not getting Rendon, high schoolers?

Heck no, Cole, Purke and Jungmann and even Barnes are all college pitchers...

There is a solid group of HS arms coming this upcoming draft season, but unless someone pulls a Taillon, I am going college arm. Even if Taillon was in this upcoming draft, for me, he would be behind atleast Cole and Rendon.

The top HS arms are Norris, Bundy, and Bradley.....A few others could sneak in there as well.....
