    Kruger out 2-4 weeks

Gotta keep this guy healthy. Hopefully Redding is good to go on sunday or else we will have a very thin defensive line.

The bye week is coming up after 3 more games, so hopefully he'll be back by week 9 against the Dolphins on Nov 7. Getting pretty thin on the edge.

Redding's dealing with a concussion, so I'd be surprised if he was good to go. He was rockin' the Mike Tomlin shades in the 2nd half of the Cleveland game.

Luckily we've got a lot of depth on our defensive line. We still have Arthur Jones waiting to play. He hasn't dressed yet. I'm comfortable going with McKinney/Lamar Divens in Kruger's place as the 3rd D-lineman while Redding's still out. Where this will hurt is on the pass rush.

I feel bad for Kruger honestly. I would have really liked to see how he built on his playing time against the Steelers. He showed some flashes on Sunday, but overall his time in Baltimore has been a bit of a head-scratcher.

His career thus far was almost perfectly summed up by his play last week - two great defensive plays (including a penalty-negated sack/fumble), and two ill-timed, inexcusable penalties.

I still think he's got a chance to have an impact for us down the road, but you're right - the timing for both Paul and the team is pretty unfortunate.
