Shanahan pulling McNabb for Grossman is the stupidest thing I've maybe ever seen.

Also, why do we have Stephon Heyer?? He is honestly the worst OT I've ever seen. The guy wouldn't start on most high level college teams...

Why do we have Rabach? He was dominated all game. He stepped on Donovan twice because he was in such a hurry to start back-pedaling. Hopefully next year's draft will land us some more OL, because we need a LG, C, RG, RT...

That benching was ridiculous. And, on the first drop back, Sexy Rexy got killed just like Donovan had been all game. Donovan was far from great and definitely made some stupid mistakes, but that game was still winnable...no logical justification can be made for saying Sexy Rexy gives you a better chance to win that game.

The guys on 980 said it perfectly this morning. For all the positive momentum this team was making and fans feeling better about the coaching staff this year -- all that went out of the window in 5 minutes. There is no way to spin that move...very dumb decision there, IMO.

In retrospect, pulling McNabb was a big mistake... BUT! I can see what led up to it for sure. McNabb has been very inconsistent all year. He will throw into the ground in front of the receiver, then throw a beautiful pass, then over throw everybody by a mile. I am not convinced McNabb is a part of a solution to the Redskins problems.

Yesterday, the Detroit DL was awesome and kicked the Skins OL's butt all over the place and that was the #1 problem.

That was one of the dumbest decisions and explanations I have seen from a head coach in a long long time.

Oh well, this is why the Skins are the Skins I guess.

Yea I know people like you hate hearing the truth.

The Skins have been a joke for a while...denying that is not only funny but sad as well.

And then, they make a decision like that? It just goes with their recent history of stupid decisions that makes the organization a joke.

Why post this? This is just inflammatory.

Because Jdubs had to take a shot at me...and it was a deserved and true rebuttal. JDubs always has to take shots at the Ravens and their fans, so he deserves everything he gets.

But thanks for telling us the truth. I wasn't aware until you showed up.

Way to ignore the fact that the people making their "actual" recent decisions are different than the ones making the "SG example recent decisions." I don't think you can lump Shanny/Allen in with the previous decade of incompetence and failure...

I actually agree with this but does this really matter?

I mean, we bash on AM and DT and they were new people making decisions..yet they were still poor.

It hasn't mattered who was making the decisions for the Skins..they are still doing a poor job of it.

This move by Shanahan, who I agree is a very good coach, is one of the worst moves I have ever seen a coach make.

Yes, it does. In Baltimore, "we" tend to assume that PA is still meddling (at least those who make comments similar to yours). In DC, it's largely assumed that Danny Boy has put his meddling ways aside (for now), and he's letting Shanny/Allen have control.

I have no doubt that Shanny made this decision.

But its almost as if you get to DC and your football IQ gets dumber.

Who else would have made it? If it wasn't one Shanny, it was the other...
